ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Ask: Leadership requested training for all HR employees and hiring managers, expecting a typical eLearning course. We recommended a just-in-time approach instead.
Description: We created short "how to" videos and job aids accessible within the workflow, allowing users to learn while performing actual recruiting tasks rather than through pre-launch eLearning.
Results: Users adopted the system quickly. The resources were developed rapidly and updated efficiently, requiring significantly less time and resources than a full course.
A Simple Solution That Delivered: Just-in-time training was the most effective approach and it reinforced our commitment to keeping solutions simple. We accelerated development, improved scalability, and made ongoing maintenance significantly more efficient.

This solution was straightforward: By creating concise, task-based resources, we made content easy to distribute and update across channels, removed barriers to getting started, and scaled as the system evolved. The approach cut administrative overhead and costs, reduced cognitive load for users, and enabled data-driven refinement.
Multi-channel Delivery: The modular nature of these resources streamlined distribution across multiple channels. Videos and job aids were easily embedded in the organization's internal knowledge base and intranet, making the same content discoverable through search and accessible from various entry points without reformatting or redevelopment.
Reduced Barrier to Entry: Unlike eLearning courses that require users to complete entire modules before accessing the system, our approach eliminated barriers to getting started. Users could begin working immediately and seek help when needed, reducing frustration and time-to-productivity.
